What Is a High Volume Filter Pump?

Our high-volume pumps are for moving large volumes of water in harsh and dirty conditions. They are excellent in conditions where conventional pump intakes would normally block. This is because they combine a high-volume submersible pump and a high-volume water filter in one compact easy to instal unit.

The pump filter mesh stays clean as a result of the effective self-cleaning filter. It also protects spray bars, irrigation nozzles and other connected equipment.

This means that you can pump and filter large volumes of dirty water because a continuous backwash keeps the intake screen clear. So these high-volume industrial water pumps operate in dirty water without the high maintenance associated with usual intake screening.

One easy to install ‘plug and play’ unit combines pumping and filtering. And now our high volume filterpumps can move even more dirty water, as we develop filterpumps for higher volumes of water.

Please Note: Our filters are designed for use in dirty water or liquids with a viscosity close to that of water. Our filters and filterpumps are NOT suitable for use in raw sewage or any other dirty water which contains oils or fat.
