Dirty Water Pumps That Don't Block

Dirty Water Pumps

Dirty Water Pumps

Any surface mounted pump can become a dirty water pump when connected to a Rotorflush self-cleaning filter on the suction intake. Take, for example, our RF600 Self-cleaning Intake Strainer for dirty water pumping and screening.

The RF600 self-cleaning intake strainers provide industrial strength, low maintenance filtration for surface mounted pumps. They are coarse screened 600 mm diameter filters fitted with 1 mm - 6 mm stainless steel mesh screens. Fitted with this on the suction hose, your pump becomes a dirty water sump pump with a continuous self-cleaning backwash.

We manufacture and sell self-cleaning suction hose filters and screens in all shapes and sizes, suitable for pumps providing from 30 litres a minute to 1,600 m3 / hour. Nearly any surface mounted pump can become a dirty water pump, capable of dealing with tricky water conditions while simultaneously pumping dirty water and screening out debris.

All our filters and strainers use the same patented technology, providing efficient self-cleaning backwash to keep their filter mesh clear. They are powered by taking a ‘T’ off your already filtered pump output to supply the Rotorflush internal rotors. These filters operate at source when pumping very dirty water, reducing the need for settlement tanks or expensive inline filter systems. The cleaning rotors continuously backwash the mesh screen, blowing away anything that might cause it to block.

Rotorflush Self-cleaning Intake Strainers for attachment to the suction hose of surface mounted pumps can turn your dry mounted pump into a highly efficient dirty water pump, sump pump or ditch irrigation pump. These all-stainless-steel construction mechanical filters are built to last and self-clean; they combine industrial strength filtration with exceptionally low maintenance. Now every pump can be a dirty water pump!
